Summit Design Remodeling is excited to announce its affiliation with Bertch Cabinetry.  In operation for over 35 years, Bertch is based out of Waterloo, Iowa.  The company utilizes only the finest wood, furniture joints and exceptional finishes to create distinct cabinetry which is 100% made in the USA.

Offering styles from classic to contemporary and everywhere in between, Bertch has over 75 door styles in 14 wood species, as well as 20 available stains and 14 solid paint colors.  Current trends in the kitchen and bath industry indicate that white and off-white colors are in high demand, as well as bold, painted cabinetry from teal to bright red. The gray and “greige” (combination of gray and beige) color palette is also very strong and gaining momentum.  Bertch Cabinetry can beautifully cover any of the current styles as well as the very classic look of fine furniture with inset doors, turned-legs and corbels.

Our clients are requesting more and more customizations such as holders for recycling and garbage bins, pull-out spice racks and pull-out racks for their pots and pans.  Bertch offers all of these customizations and then some.

Unlike some other cabinetry companies who offer laminated sides as a standard, all Bertch cabinets come with standard ½” plywood sides and natural birch melamine interiors or can be upgraded to all wood boxes.  Soft close hinges and drawer glides are also a standard with Bertch while offered as an upgrade with other cabinet lines.  An added bonus is that all hardware (pulls and knobs) and toekicks (recessed space at the bottom of a cabinet) are furnished at no additional cost.

tiffany-beauty-lgBertch recently made an exciting change to their product offering which combines their custom and semi-custom lines into one line called Kitchen+.  The new line means that our clients can now obtain many features from the custom line at the lesser semi-custom price.  And don’t let the name Kitchen+ mislead you. The line offers cabinetry for every room in your home to include kitchens, bathrooms, media rooms, walk-in closets, and offices.

We are once again very excited to be a partner with an exceptional cabinet company and look forward to showing our clients all of the possibilities!
